I don't get it.

Hi. I do enjoy art films occasionally but some movies just leave me puzzled. For example, I never got what Stanley Kubrick tried to say in "Eyes Wide Shut". What about "Being John Malkovich" by Spike Jonze? They are just too deep for me. I think it is fair enough to admit that I didn't get it. :P My favourite movies include "When Harry Met Sally", "Before Sunrise", "WALL·E", "Groundhog Day" and so on... easy ones. ;) I don't get it. 무슨 뜻인지 모르겠어요. 무슨, mooson, what 뜻인지, ddeotsinji, meaning + suffix 모르겠어요, morugetsoyo, don't know (모르다) 무슨 뜻인지 모르겠어요. mooson ddeotsinji morugetsoyo. It is the same if you say "무슨 말 인지 모르겠어요." 말 in this case means what he/she is saying. Or "무슨 이야기 인지 모르겠어요." to mean "I don't know what the story is about." Colloquially, 무슨 can be reduced to one syllable 뭔(mwon). If you really don't have a single clue, add 도대체(dodaeche). It is the same effect as adding ...

Your skin looks so much better recently.

Hi all. TGIF! Do you have any plans for this weekend? I have a skin treatment tomorrow. I go to a new salon that I found recently and they use Guinot products. I never heard of them before but I started using cleansing milk from them. It was actually really nice and moisturises the skin really nicely. I plan to get some more products later. :) Your skin looks so much better recently. 요즘 피부가 엄청 좋아 보이는데요. 요즘, yosm, recently 피부가, pibuga, skin + suffix 엄청, umchung, greatly or extremely 좋아, joa, good (좋다) 보이는데요, boyinundaeyo, looks like (보이다) 요즘 피부가 엄청 좋아 보이는데요. yosm pibuga umchung joa boyinundaeyo. Do you remember when I said 완전 is a very informal expression? 엄청 is also a colloquial expression and it is '엄청' common. :) More formal equivalent would be 정말 or 매우. Hopefully my skin looks better after tomorrow too. :) Bye for now.

I need to photoshop this, big time!

Hi guys, it was a very disappointing match yesterday. It was a 4-1 loss to Argentina. :( I hope we do better in the next match against Nigeria. I had a win over Greece already and Greece has beaten Nigeria yesterday. We have a chance, right! :) Anyway, today's expression is very colloquial. Don't use it in your essay. :) I need to photoshop this, big time! 이 사진 완전 포토샾 해야겠어요! 이, yi, this 사진, sajin, photo 완전, wanjeon, fully or completely (완전하다) 포토샾, potoshop, photoshop 해야겠어요, haeyagetsoyo, gotta do something (하다) 이 사진 완전 포토샾 해야겠어요! yi sajin wanjeon potoshop haeyagetsoyo! Strictly speaking, the correct form of this adverb is 완전히. But many people just say 완전 in speech recently. 어제 Messi 완전 잘하던데요. -> Messi was really good yesterday. 완전 신기한데요! -> This is really marvelous! 완전 좋은데요! -> This is really good! I am going to Sydney this evening and come back on Sunday evening. It will be great to catch up with my friends there. But I see some challenges on my blogging. Well, I hav...
