Do you have any iThing?
Hi everyone. iPad was released in Australia only ten days ago and already there is a hotel that has replaced the printed menus with iPads. The future is here! Let's talk about technologies this week. :)
I just downloaded an interesting game for my iPad.
지금 막 내 아이패드에 재밌는 게임을 다운로드 했어요.
지금, jigum, now
막, mak, right now or just then
내, nae,my
아이패드에, iPadae, iPad + suffix
재밌는, jaeminnun, interesting
게임을, gamemuel, game + suffix
다운로드, download, download
했어요, hatsoyo, did something
지금 막 내 아이패드에 재밌는 게임을 다운로드 했어요.
jigum mak nae iPadae jaeminnun gamemuel download hatsoyo.
As you can see, 지금 막 is redundancy as both have the same meaning. But it is very common to say this way for emphasis.
But note that 막 alone can be used in a situation where two events are happening at the same time. For example:
The last iPad was sold when I arrived.
내가 도착했을때, 마지막 아이패드가 막 팔렸다.
Let me know if you have any question! :)
